Co-hosted by Dentons Rodyk and the Singapore Chamber of Commerce (Western Australia), this invitation only event is an opportunity to hear from experienced Australian-based ASX advisors as they discuss the processes for Singaporean based growth companies considering seeking a listing on ASX.

Information on the speakers

Hsu Li Chuan

Hsu Li Chuan is a Partner in the Dentons Rodyk Corporate practice. Li Chuan's main areas of practice encompass corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate commercial transactions, with an emphasis on equity capital markets transactions. He is effectively bilingual in both English and Chinese, and has advised various Chinese clients and companies. Read more about Li Chuan here.

James Rowe

James Rowe is the State Manager (Perth) of ASX, responsible for the ASX office that is home to the largest number of small to medium sized listed companies in Australia. James will talk about the key requirements for admission of a company to list on ASX, together with giving some practical insight into the process, and how long it will take, from the ASX perspective. The ASX Listing Rules are very different to the SGX rules, and ASX encourages small to medium capitalisation companies to list on its exchange. James will explain the ASX costs involved in a listing and the ongoing costs and requirements for reporting to maintain a listing.

Toby Hicks

Toby Hicks is a Partner of Perth-based Steinepreis Paganin Lawyers, who are consistently recognised as the most active adviser on IPOs and capital raisings on ASX in Australia. Read more about Toby here.

Toby will explain the legal process that is involved in listing on ASX, with particular reference to the content of the Prospectus and due diligence work that is involved in ensuring the Prospectus makes the necessary disclosures in accordance with the Australian securities laws. Toby will also discuss the likely timeline for a listing on ASX and give some practical tips on achieving that timeline, including getting audited accounts completed before the process commences and ensuring the entity has local Directors with ASX experience.

Davide Bosio

Davide Bosio is the Head of Corporate Finance and Managing Director of DJ Carmichael, a leading stockbroking and corporate advisory firm in Western Australia. Read more about Davide here.

Davide has advised on and raised capital for numerous IPO’s in Australia, and will explain the availability of capital in the Australian market, and what investors are seeking from a new listing.
