Charmaine Kong is a partner in Dentons Rodyk's Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group.
Charmaine's main areas of practice include corporate and commercial disputes, insolvency matters, and building and construction disputes.
Charmaine has handled a wide range of commercial matters. She has represented and advised financial institutions, companies and individuals on a wide array of commercial issues, including minority oppression, insider trading, equity and trust disputes, as well as contested insolvency matters. In doing so, she has been involved in various contested applications, High Court trials, arbitration proceedings and appeals at the Court of Appeal.
In respect of building and construction disputes, Charmaine has represented contractors and sub-contractors in the Singapore Courts, arbitration proceedings, and in adjudications under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act. She has also acted for and against various contractors in prosecutions by statutory bodies.
