Join Dentons Rodyk corporate, dispute resolution, and real estate partners, as they engage you in a case study of a hypothetical existing joint venture partnership for a premium new development, which has two joint venture partners, including a construction company. The construction company’s subsidiary also undertakes the role as main contractor. Both partners are excellent, top of their class parties, but one or more wants to exit this partnership. How do they do so?

A highly motivated buyer approaches the development company to explore possibilities to collaborate and invest in this very premium new development. How will this potential buyer seek to come in on this potentially lucrative investment?

The case study will seek to showcase the acquisition process which includes due diligence undertaken in such transactions both covering the real estate asset as well as on the developer company.

The session will be conducted in an interactive workshop style and promises to engage participants practically.
