Synopsis

Recent events in Qatar are fast moving and unpredictable. They are likely to adversely impact businesses from Singapore and the wider far eastern region.

At this session, you will hear from people on the ground as to what is happening in Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the wider Middle East Region.

Discussions will include:

• What is happening on the ground in the affected Middle East states?
• Why is it happening?
• What might happen in the next month?
• What are the implications for businesses that operate in Qatar and how can they best protect their interests (on the basis of FIDIC Contracts)?
