Dentons Rodyk is acting as Singapore counsel to Nickel Mines Limited (“NML”) for its share offer and listing on the Official List of the Australian Stock Exchange (“Listing”).
NML raised AU$200 million in the Listing at an issue price of AU$0.35 per share, which values the company at around AU$485 million and is one of the largest offerings on the ASX in the last 12 months prior to the Listing.
NML is focused on becoming a globally significant, low-cost producer of nickel pig iron (“NPI”), a key ingredient in the production of stainless steel. Tsingshan, China’s largest stainless steel producer, is collaborating with NML on the funding and construction of 2 RKEF (rotary kiln electric furnace) lines to produce 150 kilo tons per annum of NPI.
Corporate Senior Partner Li Chuan Hsu led the deal, supported by Senior Associate Min Xuan Ng.
