Debby’s multidisciplinary experience includes advising an array of stakeholders in both out-of-court restructurings and formal insolvencies, including public-listed companies, private equity companies, white knight investors, bank and non-bank creditors, trustees, and insolvency practitioners. She is particularly experienced in the technology, media and telecommunications, infrastructure, and maritime sectors. Her practice also includes commercial and insolvency-related litigation.

Debby was named as one of “40 of the world’s leading restructuring specialists, aged 40 and under” by the Global Restructuring Review in 2016. She has been lauded as a leading lawyer in many publications including Chambers Asia-Pacific, The Legal 500 and Who’s Who Legal for her technical ability and commercial nous. She was recently nominated for Woman Lawyer of the Year for the ALB Southeast Asia Law awards 2021. She is also one of the first three Singapore-qualified practitioners to be bestowed the prestigious fellowship from INSOL International and is the Co-Author of the Singapore Module of the INSOL International Foundation Certificate.
