Audrey Chiang is a Senior Partner in the Dentons Rodyk Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Arbitration practices.

Audrey's primary practice is in general commercial litigation. She advises and represents clients on a broad range of issues relating to corporate litigation, medical defence litigation, property law, breach of confidence, express, constructive and resulting trusts, banking law, employment law, intellectual property law and regulatory matters. Her clients include private hospitals, insurers and publicly listed companies.

In the area of medical law, Audrey has acted for a number of local hospitals and insurers, including defending hospitals and doctors in claims brought against them by patients and representing them in coroner's inquiries. She has advised on complex legal issues relating to the storage of human gametes, embryos and tissue mix-up during an IVF procedure, and directives and legislation in relation to assisted reproduction services. In addition, she has had experience prosecuting on behalf of a local health authority under legislation administered by the authority.

  • Clients in cryptocurrency industry: Advising client on disputes arising from cryptocurrency trades, and hacking incidents. 
  • Clients in oil and gas industry: Acting in defence of claim brought by former director, and counterclaiming for damages for breach of director's duties. Acting for client in an arbitration pertaining to the supply of defective parts used in offshore drilling operations. 
  • Confidential client: Acting in the defence of a claim for specific performance of the sale and purchase of an industrial building.
  • Major US Technology Multi-national Corporation: Acting in an arbitration matter accruing from monies owed under an agreement between the claimants and the respondent.
  • Confidential client: Acting in claims arising from agreements relating to information technology and involving issues of electronic discovery.
  • Insurers: Acting in claims relating to personal injury and property damage, including damage to hundreds of Chinese ink paintings in an art gallery arising from water leakage.
  • Competition & Consumer Commission of Singapore: Acting for CCCS in bringing a claim for injunctions and various orders of court against a retailer for breaches of the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act. 
  • Confidential client: Advising on the directives and legislation in relation to assisted reproduction services and other medical procedures and issues.
  • Private hospital: Acting in a claim arising from a mix-up which occurred during an IVF procedure.
  • Hong Kong company: Acting in their claim against a major local retailer for the infringement of trademark.
  • Publicly listed company in China: Acting in their claim in breach of confidence against a Singapore company and its director for the unauthorized disclosure of its trade process.
  • Publicly listed company in Sri Lanka: Acting and advising for the recovery of monies remitted to Singapore.
  • Major banking creditor: Acting in respect of their rights and claims against China Aviation Oil (Singapore) Corporation Ltd and others, including the institution of legal proceedings.
  • Online gaming company: Acting in a claim brought by another gaming company for alleged infringement of copyright in a multiplayer online role playing game.
  • Hospitals and doctors: Advising on claims and potential claims in medical negligence.
  • Leading private healthcare provider in Asia: Acting for the client in relation to judicial review proceedings brought against them by a doctor.
  • Private hospital: Advising on the legal issues in connection with the separation of conjoined twins.
  • Local health authority: Acting on its legal matters, including the Slim 10 matter and the related civil claim, as well as issues arising out of the legislation administered by the authority.
  • Criminal Defence: Acting for appellant in appeal against conviction and sentence in relation to charges brought under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
