Dentons Rodyk has won two awards at The Asia Legal Awards 2018, which honors and identifies the most complex and outstanding legal work in Asia.

Energy and Infrastructure Project of the Year: Rosneft's US$13.8B Tuban refinery project

Dentons advised Indonesian state-owned oil and natural gas company Pertamina on its first joint venture agreement with Rosneft, the Russian state-owned oil company, to jointly develop the new Tuban refining and petrochemical complex in East Java. The Tuban refinery is the largest refinery in the world currently under development, and is expected to have a crude processing capacity in excess of 300,000 bpd. It is targeted for completion in the early 2020s, and will be the first oil refinery to be built in Indonesia in over 20 years.

Real Estate Deal of the Year: Mercatus Co-operative Ltd.'s US$1.7B acquisition of Jurong Point

Dentons Rodyk acted for Mercatus Co-operative Limited in the purchase of suburban mall development, Jurong Point together with the mall operating business for S$2.2 billion (approximately US$1.7 billion), from Lee Kim Tah Holdings and Guthrie GTS joint venture. This was the biggest property investment sales deal for 2017.
